Mission Statement:

Shoreline Gluten Free Association® is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Our Mission is to provide support to persons with gluten intolerances, including celiac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis and gluten sensitivities to live healthy lives.

Our goal is to raise awareness of celiac disease in general, and the gluten intolerance problem specificially. We plan to reach newly diagnosed residents, but also outreach to the medical community, school nurses, camps, and convalescent homes. Finally, we plan to recruit and train local restaurants to offer gluten-free meals. Hopefully, we will be able to offer a healthier, happier lifestyle for those living with this condition.

Members come from the Southern Connecticut shoreline towns including Guilford east to New London and along the Connecticut River communities south of Middletown. Membership open to anyone with this condition or a caregiver. $10 per year for an individual, $15 for a family.
