	Tuesday, March 30, 2010 - GF Cooking Class offered through Moorhead Community Ed. Recent estimates suggest that one in 100 Americans is gluten-intolerant. Symptoms of this intolerance are many and varied, and the only way to avoid reactions is to avoid foods that contain gluten. Since identifying the cause of her symptoms 13 years ago, gluten-free cooking has become a way of life for Jan Hammer. Jan is a member of Red River Celiacs - GIG. In response to many requests for recipes and information, she has offered to teach this class to help others. If you or a family member has been advised to avoid gluten, join us for an evening of information, cooking, tasting and conversation. Class will be making pasta salad, casserole, bread, sticky buns, chocolate cupcakes and angel food cake. Fee includes food. Bring take-home containers.
