Mission Statement:

Portland Metro GIG® is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Our Mission is to provide support to persons with gluten intolerances, including celiac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis and gluten sensitivities to live healthy lives.

 

SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS:
Portland Metro GIG, holds support group meetings on the 2nd Saturday of each month at Legacy Emanuel Hospital in North Portland, with the exception of  December (when we have our Holiday Party). We are easily accessible by bus and transfer from the MAX, and are right off of I-5 and the 405 at the East end of the Fremont Bridge (Kerby exit).  Support group meetings are held from 10 am to 12 pm.

The cost is $10 a year. For this you will receive a quarterly newsletter sent directly to you. The newsletter will inform you on a variety of information such as the next meeting topics, local celiac community news, recipes, gluten free friendly restaurants, websites and forums, medical and dietary information plus many other topics regarding the Celiac condition and lifestyle.

There is no obligation to join, however your donation is tax deductible and will also help us to fund our doctor and restaurant awareness programs, as well as provide financing to fund the food fair.
