Upcoming GIG of Harrisburg Programs:

Helping High School and College Bound Students
Address the Gluten Free Diet

The social and practical challenges of high school and college students with Celiac Disease and gluten intolerances will be discussed at the March 24, 2010, program and presented by Cathy Campbell of the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG®). The meeting will be held at 7:00 P.M. in the Community Room of the Giant Food Store, 3301 Trindle Road, Camp Hill.

Cathy, a teacher, will describe how she helped prepare her 20-year old daughter, who was diagnosed three weeks before her junior year of college, for eating at a school cafeteria. Her research has evolved into a helpful website: celiacstudent.com, which outlines special procedures for the college search, snack foods, cooking equipment, and more.

Please contact GIG® (717-520-9817 or email Harrisburg@gluten.net) by March 17 to pre-register for this free program or to receive additional support and information.
